Freaky Fortune are Nikolas Raptakis and Theofilos Pouzbouris. Both 23 years old, both studied music since their early years. Theofilos plays the guitar and piano and owns a degree on theoretical music studies and music history, while Nikolas still takes vocal couching lessons in the National Greek School of Music and composes with Theofilos all their songs.
.Their breakthrough in the global Internet community was a cover on the Perez Hilton's cover competition. Freaky Fortune Part Of Me (Katy Perry cover)  was announced as a brilliant work by the Greek duo and the most "deadly" blogger on earth, Perez Hilton launched their fame across the music industry. After their first success, in 2011, Freaky Fortune released three top-chart singles with top Greek artists.

Athens, Greece - Tonight it was the turn of Greece to make their decision as to who will represent them in Europe's Favourite TV Show, and they have chosen Freaky Fortune featuring Risky Kidd with Rise Up to have the honour of representing the country in its 40th anniversary year.

Four acts performed tonight in the Acro Music Hall in Athens in EuroSong 2014, and the winner was determined by a 50/50 mix of Jury and Televoting. The jury members were; Dimitris Kontopoulos, Elpida, Themis Georgantas, Areti Kalesaki and Reggina Kouri.

40th Anniversary Special

EuroSong 2014 marked the ruby anniversary in style, with performances from artists old and new. Including a number of duets; with Elpida (1979) and Tamta, Sofia Vossou (1991) and Demy, Kaiti Garbi (1993) and Vegas, Kalomira (2008) and Claydee, and also Pascalis, Marianna, Robert and Bessy (1977) and Melisses.
The night of course could not miss last year's Greek entrants, Koza Mostra featuring Agathon lakovidis.
The programme was presented for the second consecutive year by Despina Vandi and Giorgos Kapoutzidis. They also performed to numerous Greek entries during the opening sequence, and there were clips galore of all the songs that have represented Greece over the past 40 years.
The winning song will represent Greece in the Second Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest to be held on Thursday the 8th of May.

Antwerp, Belgium - Tonight, in an impressive production from VRT, Belgium chose Axel Hirsoux with the song Mother written by Rafael Artesero and Ashley Hicklin as its representative for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen.

Tonight, at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, the Grand Final of the Belgian national selection, Eurosong 2014, took place where 6 acts competed for the right to represent Belgium at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen in May.
There could, however, only be one winner and this was Axel Hirsoux with the song Mother after impressing the viewers and juries with a great performance.
Each of the acts went through a long and exciting journey to get to tonight's show, starting will casting rounds and culminating in this spectacular Grand Final while listening to the valorations of the professional jury made up by 2004 Eurovision winner Ruslana from Ukraine and local experts Bart Peeters, Piet Goddaer and Jef Martens.

The Acts

These are the six acts that qualified for the final of Eurosong 2014, which tonight took place at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp:

3. Udo - Hero (In Flanders Fields)

The voting

Tonight the result was made up of votes split 50:50 between the televote and 7 international juries from Azerbaijan, Denmark, Ireland, F.Y.R. Macedonia, The Netherlands, Spain and Belarus. After they casted their votes this was the result:

1. Axel Hirsoux 74
2. Yass 58
3. Eva Jacobs 52
4. Bandits 42
5. Sil 32
6. Udo 22

The expert panel was present during tonight's show but only in an advisory capacity, unlike in previous shows, but they could mention their one favourite and they all agreed in naming Axel Hirsoux as their favourite.
The juries and public had the same total of 280 points each to give out. This is how the televote was spread:

4. Yass 19
5. Udo 10
6. Sil 6

Antwerp, Belgium - Tonight, the Belgian National Final, Eurosong 2014, will place at the Sportpalais in Antwerp. Here, six acts will compete for the right to represent Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen in May.

Tonight, in what promises to be a spectacular show from the Belgian city of Antwerp, six acts will compete for the right to represent their country at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen in May.
Broadcaster, VRT, has thrown a lot into this year's selection with televised casting rounds and three live Semi-Finals.

The Acts

The casting rounds and Semi-Finals culminated with the following six acts qualifying for the Grand Final, which tonight takes place at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp:

1. Yass - Need You Tonight
2. SIL - What's The Time In Tokyo
3. Udo - Hero (In Flanders Fields)
4. Bandits - One
5. Eva Jacobs - Nothing Is Impossible
6. Axel Hirsoux - Mother

Format

Athens, Greece - Tonight it is the turn of Greece to make their decision as to who will represent them in Europe's Favourite TV Show., and you can watch it tonight on Eurovision.tv. This year marks the 40th anniversary since Greece made their debut in the contest, so which one of the four songs competing in EuroSong 2014 will have the honour of representing the country in its ruby anniversary?

Four acts will perform tonight in the Acro Music Hall in Athens, and the winner will be determined by a 50/50 mix of Jury and Televoting. The jury members are; Dimitris Kontopoulos: (composer), Elpida: (singer and former Greek entrant), Themis Georgantas: (Tv host and radio producer), Areti Kalesaki and Reggina Kouri.

Four acts took part in tonight's extravaganza from Vilvoorde. These were (qualifiers in bold):

4. Bandits - One - 2nd Place

The interval act featured the band Clouseau, who represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991 with the song Geef het op, tonight singing a new song.

Now that we have found our final two qualifiers for the Grand Final of Eurosong 2014, we now have six songs ready and eager for the final next Saturday. The running order for the Grand Final has not yet been determined by VRT. These are:

Ruslana and the masked band

Tonight was special for many reasons, but there were two things that stuck out. The winner of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, Ruslana, sat on the jury together with Bart Peeters, Piet Goddaer and Jef Martens. In Istanbul, she won with the song Wild Dances, which has become iconic all over Europe.
Another unique element to tonight's competition was the band Day One, made up of masked musicians of whom no one knows their identities. There has been much speculation in the Flemish press about who these people may be, with many people suggesting 2006 Belgian representative, Kate Ryan is the lead singer.
Belgium will take part in the first Semi-Final of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place at the B&W-Hallerne on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen on the 6th of May.
